Follow these steps to print with Amazon Alexa :
- Obtain the email address for your printer to link it to Alexa.
- On your printer control panel, press the HP ePrint button, if equipped, or navigate through the Setup or Network menu to find Web Services.
- For printers that only have buttons, press the Info and Cancel buttons or the Info and Web Services buttons at the same time to print the Web Services Info Page.
- Enable the HP Printer Skill for Alexa from your smartphone or tablet using the Alexa app.
- The Skill can also be enabled on Amazon.com.
- Open the Alexa app, tap the Menu icon, and then tap Skills.
- Search for HP Printer, and then select it from the list of Skills.
- Enable the skill, and then tap Save Permissions.
- Enter the email address for your printer, and then tap Finish and start printing.
- With the Skill enabled, you can now ask your Echo or other Alexa device to print on your HP printer.
- To print, say, “Alexa, ask my printer to”, and then follow with the content you want to print.
- For a list of what Alexa can print, say, “Alexa, ask my printer to print a help page.”
- Keep in mind, Alexa does not support printing items stored on your phone or computer, only content already associated with Alexa.
