- Farhan Bin Amin: For the negative half cycle though the polarity of Vi changes, while using KVL we will have to consider the polarity sign for the positive half cycle of Vi. Hope this helps.lll

- pronob roy: I think eq: for 2nd half cycle -Vi + IR = 0 (+IR because polarity is change) => Vi = IR => Vi = Vo (IR = V0 because in parallel branch voltage drop same )
