Here's the first part of some video taken from a February 2nd, 1986 airing of "Taxi Driver" on WNEW (New York City's channel 5). It was part of their "Big Apple Movie" umbrella, Sunday evenings at 6PM. It includes the open (which, judging from the font, seems to have a bit of the ABC promo from years earlier) with VO by Tom Gregory, bumps, a What's Happening! promo, Ted Brown talking to surly New Yorkers about the weather in a spot for the Meadowlands, a ShopRite commercial with the familiar actress (named in some places as Linda Watkins, haven't independently verified this), a Midday with Bill Boggs promo (mentioning bodybuilder Gladys Portugues, who later married Jean-Claude Van Damme), and finally a promo for "Our Finest Hour" and "The Making of M*A*S*H" featuring a MacArthur impersonator.
